The wort: plan submitted to San <br /> Joaquin County in March and implemented in April through August 1991. <br /> 1.3 Scope of Work <br /> This investigation was initiated to further examine the envirorunental characteristics in the <br /> vicinity of the former underground storage tank locations, and to install equipment Cor nse in <br /> site remediation activities as required. The following items were included in the scope of <br /> work: <br /> • Design and supervise installation of a soil vapor collection system within the <br /> former fuel tank excavation. <br /> Drill and collect soil samples from five boreholes (one drilled to a depth of 45 <br /> feet,two to a depth of 40 feet,two *o a depth of 30 feet below grade). <br /> r <br /> Complete two 30 foot boreholes as 2" diameter vadose wells. <br /> L; Complete two 40 foot boteholey as 4" diameter monitoring wells. <br /> s <br /> a L Complete one 45 foot borehole as a 4" diameter monitoring well. <br /> • Develop the monitoring wells and collect water samples. <br /> • Analyze samples (soil & water) for gasoline and its constituents. <br /> Conduct a well head elevation survey. <br /> • Report these activities. <br /> 2 <br /> ", =.
