FINDINGS
Ground water elevation, flow direction and gradient were determined from field data collected on
18 October 2000, the contaminant impact to ground water was assessed from the laboratory
analytical data
' 3 1 GROUND WATER GRADIENT AND FLOW DIRECTION
' At the time of the October 2000 sampling event, depths to ground water ranged from 11 35 feet to
r 12 34 feet below the tops of the well casings Relative ground water elevations at the site ranged
' from 8 61 feet below mean sea level (MSL) In well MW4 to 8 70 feet above MSL In well MW2 `
(Table 1) During this monitoring event, the ground water level in the wells was approximately 6 35
to 7 45 feet below the tops of the well screens, Indicating that the wells are screened properly and
' yield representative ground water samples The relative ground water elevation at the site decreased
an average of 163 feet between the July 2000 and October 2000 monitoring events
' Ground water is flowing toward the northwest under an average gradient of 0 0013 feet/feet Figure
3 illustrates the contoured ground water elevations as measured on 18 October 2000
' 3 2 ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF GROUND WATER SAMPLES
' Each sample was analyzed for TPH-g, TPH-d, BTEX, and for the suite of five oxygenated fuel
additives TPH-g was not detected at concentrations at or above the laboratory reporting limits in any
of the ground water samples
Advanced GeoEnvtronmental,Inc
1
