29 December 1999 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 98-0465 <br /> Page 5 of 9 <br /> illustrated on Figure 2 Well locations are proposed to provide definition of the lateral extent of <br /> dissolved hydrocarbons Monitoring of the wells should provide data to determine if the dissolved <br /> plume is migrating or stable <br /> Following well installation, each well will be developed to maximize water flow and minimize the <br /> amount of fine-grained sediment drawn into the well during pumping or bailing Procedures for well <br /> installation and development are presented in Sections 4 1 and 4 2, respectively <br /> 34 GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS <br /> Ground water monitoring and sampling activities for each newly installed ground water monitoring <br /> well will be conducted on a quarterly basis unless an alternate schedule or suspension of monitoring <br /> is approved by the PHS-EHD Ground water monitoring activities will include recording depth to <br /> ground water measurements and collection of ground water samples Ground water sample collection <br /> procedures are described in Section 4 6 3 <br /> Ground water samples will be analyzed by a State of California Department of Health Services <br /> . (DHS)-certified laboratory for the following constituents <br /> • EPA Method 8015 Modified/5030 for TPH-g and TPH-d, <br /> • EPA Method 602 for BTEX, <br /> • EPA Method 8260 modified for tertiary butanol (TBA), di-isopropyl ether(DIPE), ethyl tert <br /> butyl ether (ETBE) and tert amyl methyl ether (TAME), and methyl tertiary butyl ether <br /> (MTBE) <br /> 3 5 RECEPTOR SURVEY <br /> A receptor survey will be performed to locate all potential ground water conduits or receptors within <br /> a 2,000-foot radius of the site The results of the receptor survey will compliment ongoing <br /> assessment activities and assist in evaluating appropriate corrective action <br /> 36 PREPARATION OF REPORT OF FINDINGS <br /> Following each quarterly ground water monitoring event, a quarterly report will be prepared <br /> presenting the findings The quarterly reports will include a description of work performed and the <br /> iresults of the soil/groundwater sampling and analysis Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmentai,Inc <br />
