1
January. 994 - Quarterly monitoring again showed that MW-1 had
' the highest levels of contamination; the gradient was indicated
to be essentially due north.
March 1994 - A soil--gas vapor survey was conducted on the
property in an attempt to define the limits of the plume and
possibly identify other off-site sources of contamination. The
results of that survey are shown on PLM VI. which revealed that
' only the test points in the northwest portion of the property,
(where the removed UST' s were located, ) recorded any petroleum
vapors. The readings suggest that the soil vapor plume extends
offsite to the north & west, which supports our belief that
' another source may exist in the area. Refer to that report for
additional information.
APKII 1924 - Quarterly monitoring continued to show that MW-1,
still in an upgradient position, is recording the highest levels
of contamination. The data showed the hydraulic gradient had
' shifted back to the east.
u 94 - WJH prepared a workplan for placixag two (2)
additional groundwater monitoring wells on the Property in an
attempt to a "zero" line to the south and east as indicated by
the: soil-gas survey. A copy of that e70rr2lPlan is included as
EXHIBIT B.
' Augugt 94 - Results of quarterly monitoring continue to
show that MW-1 is recording the highest levels of BTEX & rPH-G.
The hydraulic gradient is to the northeast. Refer to that report
for more details.
]RESULTS--OFPLAMMNT OF TWO 2 GROUNDWATER Ho TO ING I.L
' AT 1876 COUNTRY CLUB DRIVE STOCKTON ON SEPTEMBER 26-,--.1994:
Wk. J. Hunter, RG from Wm. J. Hunter & Associates, arrived on
location at 0735, and reviewed locations selected for wells.
Spectrum Exploration auger rig & support truck arrived at 0800;
Mike Young, driller, & Bob Duvall, helper. An examination of the
location selected for well #4 revealed that overhead power lines
would interfere with the rig mast, and another rig with the
capability of drilling with restricted) overhead clearance would
be used. Pending the arrival of that equipment, the existing rig
' was moved to the back of the property to the site selected for
well #5. Overhead power lines required its' relocation farther
south than originally planned. PLATE ®II shows the final
locations of all wells.
' The rig was equipped with sufficient 5' lengths of 8 1 "
 /4 OD
flights to complete Lhe well w/out decontaminating augers.
Coring equipment consisted of two, 18" California Modified
4
