RESULTS OF CERTIFIED ANALYSIS OF SOIL SAMPLES OBTAINED DURING <br /> THE GEOPROBE DRILLING OF P8 AND WELLS INTALLATIONS OF RIB MW6B <br /> AND MW7B <br /> To fill in the data gap, soil samples were obtained from 15 5 feet bts at GeoProbe hole <br /> P8, 12, 29 and 30 feet bts at RIB, 28 feet bts at MW6B and 13 feet bts at MW713, see <br /> Appendix F and Table 2 Figures 7A through 7E illustrated the lateral extent of soil <br /> contamination at 10-12 feet bts, 14-16 feet bts, 19-22 feet bts, 22-26 feet bts and 28-30 <br /> feet bts respectively Figure 8 is a cross sectional veiw of the TPHg soil plume These <br /> figures indicate that the majority of the soil plume is located north of MW3 (former UST <br /> excavation) and extends to the northern pump island area between 10 feet to 26 feet bts, <br /> traversing both the A and B Zones <br /> RESULTS OF CERTIFIED ANALYSIS OF GROUNDWATER SAMPLES <br /> GEOPROBE FEBRUARY 14 AND 1 5,2001 <br /> Groundwater samples were obtained from "GeoProbe" test holes P8, P9, P10, PI1 and <br /> P12 Samples P8, P10 and P12 sampled the A zone Samples P9 and PI I sampled the B <br /> zone <br /> P8 is the most downgradient sample point established for this site in the A zone This <br /> sample contained TPHg at 470 ug/L and tert-Butanol at 11 ug/L tert-Butanol is a <br /> degradation byproduct of MTBE This along with no BTEX at this location indicates that <br /> this is the leading edge and degradation is occurring <br /> P10 is near the southern extent of the A zone groundwater plume and contained TPHg at <br /> 560 ug/L, Benzene at 120 ug/L, Toluene at 4 ug/L, Ethylbenzene at 1 4 ug/L, Xylenes at <br /> 5 3 ug/L, MTBE at 21 ug/L, tert-Butanol at 6 ug/L, Methanol at 120 ug/L and 1,2 <br /> Dichloroethane at 12 ug/L <br /> P12 is within the heart of the A zone groundwater plume downgradient and off site and <br /> contains TPHg at 10000 ug/L, Benzene at 220 ug/L, Toluene at 12 ug/L, Ethylbenzene at <br /> 100 ug/L, Xylenes at 81ug/L, and MTBE at 3 7 ug/L <br /> P9 is at the most downgradient sample point established for this site in the B zone This <br /> sample contained Toluene at 0 81 ug/L, Xylenes at 0 83 ug/L and MTBE at 1 6 ug/L <br /> P I I is near the southern extent of the B zone groundwater plume and contained Benzene <br /> at I ug/L, Toluene at 0 73 ug/L, MTBE at 0 5 ug/L and 1,2 Dichloroethane at 3 9 ug/L <br /> • <br /> 13 Sanchez 2nd QM 2001 <br />
