• contaminated groundwater originated at a former service station located across the street at 2103
Country Club Boulevard sometime prior to 1992 and has migrated eastward to the Kwikee Foods
site under the prevailing eastward hydraulic gradient. In early 1995, this plume extended across
most of the Kwikee Foods property, but the plume has been shrinking since late 1997 and
groundwater in all but the westernmost portion ,of the property is now basically free of
hydrocarbons. Therefore, lacking residual hydrocarbons in the soil, this site does threaten to
reverse this trend of improving groundwater quality and should be closed with no further action.
i
• - 2 -
