NEW enviros-,
migration through the shallow ground water zone in the direction of the off-site domestic
wells.
Drilling methods and procedures will conform to those described in the original work plan
for this site investigation.
Encroachment permits will be obtained from the City of Stockton for the two wells
proposed in Country Club Drive. These permits will be submitted to SJCPHS when
received, along with drilling permit applications and fees.
Task Two - Installation of Three Deep Ground Water Monitoring Wells
Three deep ground water monitoring wells are proposed in the locations shown on Plate 2.
These wells are proposed to evaluate potential migration of contaminants to a deeper
ground water zone. Two wells are proposed on the Shell site, in the northeast and
southeast corners. The third well is proposed in the private drive in the vicinity of the off-
site domestic wells.
Prior to installation of these wells, reconnaissance borings will be drilled using CPT
drilling techniques to evaluate lithology and the location of the deeper ground water zone.
These data will be used to determine final deep well design. These data and the proposed
design will be submitted to SJCPHS for approval prior to installation of the wells.
Gregg Drilling will be the company used for deep well installation activities, therefore no
permit application or fees are submitted for the on-site wells at this time.
Right of entry will be required for installation of the deep well proposed in the vicinity of
the domestic wells. Upon receipt of this right of entry, a drilling permit application and
fees will be submitted to SJCPHS.
Task Three - Domestic Well Completion Data and Sampling
Domestic wells have been identified at the following properties southeast of the Shell site:
2452 Country Club Boulevard
2454 Country Club Boulevard
2456 Country Club Boulevard
2468 Country Club Boulevard
2472 Country Club Boulevard
The owner of the property at 2450 Country Club is uncertain whether or not a well is
present on his property.
Shell has agreed to sample these wells if authorized by the owners. The status of the
sampling of each site is provided.
96371 2
