AM B R [ A <br /> February 4, 2005 <br /> Mr Sohn JacksonF — ,� /Il r a <br /> San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department [J U' <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue,Third Floor <br /> Stockton, California 95202 ; ) I' ? 9nn j <br /> Re Underground Storage Tank Removal Report ENVIRONP'NT HEALTH <br /> Former Shell Service Station PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> 2575 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> SAP Code 136144 <br /> Incident No 98996184 <br /> SJCEHD Code 1071 <br /> Dear Mr Jackson <br /> Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) prepared this report on behalf of Equilon <br /> Enterprises LLC dba Shell Oil Products US (Shell) to document the underground storage tank <br /> (UST) removal activities at the referenced site Cambria performed inspections and soil <br /> sampling following the removal of two gasoline USTs, one waste oil tank, four dispensers, and <br /> iassociated product piping The work was performed to comply with San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department(SJCEHD) guidelines <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> Site Description The subject property is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of <br /> Country Club Boulevard and Plymouth Road in Stockton, California (Figure 1) The site is a <br /> former Shell service station that previously included an underground storage tank (UST) <br /> complex that contained two gasoline USTs, one underground waste oil tank, and four dispenser <br /> islands The vacant station building remains onsite (Figure 2) <br /> Site Background The subject site is currently an active Leaping Underground Fuel Tank <br /> (LUFT) case with the SJCEHD acting as the Local Oversight Agency On December 7, 1994 a <br /> leak from the regular-unleaded UST at this site was identified The UST system was taken out of <br /> service until repairs were made Several remediation methods were employed at the site to <br /> remove petroleum hydrocarbons from subsurface soil and groundwater Site investigation <br /> activities began after the release was discovered Several exploratory soil borings have been <br /> Cambria drilled at the subject site and 15 groundwater monitoring wells have been installed A quarterly <br /> Environmental groundwater monitoring and sampling program is in place at the site A groundwater extraction <br /> Technology,Inc <br /> and treatment system was installed at the subject site during 2001 The groundwater extraction <br /> OeTkins Street and treatment system is still in operation at the site <br /> P O Box 259 <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(707)935-4850 <br /> Fax(707)935-6649 <br />
