CAMBRfA <br /> June 15, 1999 /f <br /> Mr Mike Infurna <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, California 95201 <br /> Re Quarterly Monitoring Report - Second Quarter 1999 <br /> Shell-branded Service Station <br /> 2575 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Incident 498996184 <br /> SAP 4136144 <br /> Dear Mr Infurna <br /> This Quarterly Monitoring Report describes the recently completed activities associated with <br /> groundwater monitoring and sampling at the referenced site (Plates 1 and 2) This report was <br /> prepared to meet quarterly reporting guidelines issued by the Regional Water Quality Control <br /> Board, Central Valley Region and San Joaquin County Public Health Services <br /> Quarterly Monitoring & Sampling Summary <br /> Groundwater monitoring and well sampling for the second quarter of 1999 are summarized <br /> below <br /> • Blaine Tech Services, Inc (Blaine) of San Jose, California measured groundwater levels <br /> and collected groundwater samples from Wells MW-2 through MW-14, RW-lA, the <br /> offsac CalTrans irrigation well, and five offsite domestic wells on April 15 and 22, 1999 <br /> The samples were transported to Sequoia Analytical of San Carlos, California for <br /> chemical analysis <br /> • Cambria Environmental Technology, Inc (Cambria) evaluated water-level measurement <br /> data and prepared a groundwater contour map (Plate 2) for the shallow wells (Wells <br /> Oakland CA <br /> Sonoma CA MW-2 through MW-I 1 and RW-IA) The groundwater flow varies across the site at an <br /> Portland OR approximate hydraulic gradient ranging from 0 007 to 0 016 <br /> Seattle WA <br /> Cambria <br /> • Groundwater samples collected from shallow Wells MW-5, MW-8, and RW-lA contained <br /> Environmental TPPH concentrations ranging from 5,650 to 124,000 ppb, benzene concentrations <br /> Technology,Inc ranging from 705 to 20,200 ppb, methanol concentrations ranging from 7,100 to <br /> �g <br /> 2rkms Street 200,000 ppb, and tertiary amyl methyl ether concentrations ranging from 214 to 5,080 <br /> OX 259 ppb Groundwater samples collected from shallow Wells MW-2 through MW-8 and <br /> Sonoma CA 95476 <br /> Tel(7o7)935-4850 <br /> Fax(7o7)935-6649 <br />
