Below
is a brief site chronology for the Former Exxon RAS #7-3708 located at 2705 Country Club
Boulevard,Stockton,California, which is approximately 360 feet west of the storm line in question.
11/95 ExxonMobil sold the property and UST systems to New West Petroleum.
11/97 New West Petroleum sold the property and UST systems to USA Petroleum,
Inc./Palisades Gas and Wash,Inc. (Palisades).
02/01,05/01 Well VEW3 did not contain MTBE at or above laboratory reporting limits, using EPA
Method 8260. This well later contained the highest concentrations of MTBE at the
site.
12/01 Case closure and the potential impact of hydrocarbons migrating from neighboring
sites were discussed with San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department
(SJCEHD) case worker Mr. Michael Inf nna. During this conversation, Mr. Infurna
indicated that additional drilling to the north was unwarranted and discussed using a
calculation of mass of hydrocarbons remaining in the soil as a tool to confirm the site
wan-anted closure.
03/02,05/02 VEW3 groundwater samples contained concentrations of MTBE at 30,300
micrograms per liter(ug/L) and 16,350 ug/L, respectively, prompting the SJCEHD to
rst of two Underground Storage Tank Unauthorized Release
------ (Leak)/Contamination Site Reports(URR).
12/02 Groundwater samples collected from VEW3 contained MTBE at a concentration of
54,000 ug/L.
