FAX 916/638-8385 <br /> March 19, 1997 RPS11yXiE <br /> APR 11 1997 <br /> Ms Marla GuensIer <br /> Exxon Company, U S A ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH <br /> 2300 Clayton Road, Suite 640 PERMITISERVICES <br /> Concord, California 94520 <br /> Subject Quarterly Ground Water Monitoring Report, First Quarter 1997 <br /> Former Exxon Service Station No 7-3708 <br /> 2705 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton,California <br /> Delta Project No D093-809 <br /> Dear Ms Guensler <br /> Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc (Delta), has been authorized by Exxon Company, <br />�i U S A (Exxon), to conduct quarterly ground water monitoring at former Exxon Service Station <br /> No 7-3708, located at 2705 Country Club Boulevard, Stockton, California This letter report presents <br /> the results of quarterly ground water monitoring and sampling conducted on February 7 1997 The <br /> Iocation of the site is shown in Figure I and site features are illustrated in Figure 2 The work <br /> conducted at the site by Delta was performed in accordance with the field methods and procedures <br /> described in Enclosure A <br /> Sround Water Table Elevation.FIQ-w-Direction,and Hydraulic Gradient <br /> On February 7, 1997, ground water measurements were recorded in monitoring wells MW-I through <br /> MW-8 Recorded measurements in the monitoring wells indicate depth to ground water beneath the <br /> site ranged from 4 49 (MW-5) to 7 32 (MW-2) feet below the top of the well casings Ground water <br /> table elevations have increased appiroximately approximatelyfive feet since the previous monitoring event conducted <br /> in October 1996 Cumulative ground water table measurements are presented in Table I A ground <br /> water table contour map constructed from the measurements recorded on February 7, 1997, is included <br /> as Figure 3 The water table contours indicate ground water on the western portion of the site generally <br /> flowed toward the northeast, ground water on the eastern side of the site and east o e site owe <br /> toward the southeast,towar MW-8 The average hydraulic gradient at the site was less than 0 01 <br /> Subjective Analysis <br /> No liquid-phase petroleum hydrocarbons or hydrocarbon sheens were present in the wells during the <br /> first quarter 1997 site visit <br /> 1 <br /> Providing a Competitive Edge <br />
