Environmental 916/638-2085 <br /> Consultants,Inc FAX 916/638-8385 <br /> September 9, 1996 YxTIVZO <br /> Ms Maria GuensIer OCT 2 8 1996 <br /> Exxon Company, U S A ENVIRONMENTAL H&UH <br /> 2300 Clayton Road, Suite 490 PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Concord, California 94520 <br /> Subject Quarterly Ground Water Monitormg Report, Third Quarter 1996 <br /> Former Exxon Service Station No 7-3708 <br /> 2705 Country Club Boulevard <br /> Stockton, California <br /> Delta Project No D093-809 <br /> Dear Ms Guensler <br /> Delta Environmental Consultants, Inc (Delta), has been authorized by Exxon Company, <br /> U S A (Exxon), to conduct quarterly ground water monitoring at former Exxon Service Station <br /> No 7-3708, located at 2705 Country Club Boulevard, Stockton, California This letter report <br /> presents the results of quarterly ground water monitoring and sampling conducted on July 31, 1996 ✓ <br /> First quarter ground water sampling activities could not be conducted due to station reconstruction <br /> activities The location of the site is shown in Figure 1 and site features are illustrated in Figure 2 <br /> The work conducted at the site by Delta was performed in accordance with the field methods and <br /> procedures described in Enclosure A <br /> Ground Water Table Elevation, Flow Direction, and Hydravlic Gradient <br /> On July 31 1996, ground water measurements were recorded in monitoring wells MW-1 through <br /> MW-8 Recorded measurements in the depth to ground water beneath the site ranged from 8 72 <br /> (MW-5) to 11 53 (MW-2) feet below the top of the well casings Ground water table elevations have <br /> decreased over two feet since the previous monitoring event conducted in April 1996 Cumulative <br /> ground water table measurements are presented in Table 1 A water table contour map constructed <br /> from the measurements recorded on July 31, 1996, is included as Figure 3 The water table contours <br /> indicate ground water at the site generally flowed toward the northeast with an isolated high in the <br /> vicinity of MW-3 Ground water east of the site fl—ow—R toward the southeast toward MW-8 The <br /> hydraulic gradient at the site was less than 0 01 <br /> Subjective Analysis <br /> No liquid-phase petroleum hydrocarbons or hydrocarbon sheens were present in the wells during the <br /> July 1996 site visit <br /> Providing a Competitive Edge <br />
