Pre-Gas Station Phase 11 Results <br /> Store#1769 <br /> Country Club Boulevard at Fontana Avenue <br /> Stockton, California <br /> December 12, 2000 <br /> Site Description: A proposed gas station pad located within the parking lot of the <br /> new Safeway store currently under construction. The pad is <br /> located in the northeast corner of the site at the southwest corner <br /> of the intersection of Country Club Boulevard and Fontana <br /> Avenue (Figure 1). <br /> Depth to <br /> Groundwater First groundwater was encountered between 10 and 14 feet. <br /> Static depth to groundwater ranged from 8.5 to 12 feet. <br /> Groundwater <br /> Flow Direction: Variable. Regionally, groundwater flows to the west-southwest; <br /> however, the local groundwater flow direction at two nearby <br /> gasoline station release sites has been calculated to be to the <br /> east-northeast (Exxon) and due west (7-11 station). <br /> Borings Completed: Four(SB-1 through SB-4). Boring SB-1 was completed in the <br /> northeast corner of the site; SB-2 was completed in proposed <br /> fueling island area; SB-3 was completed in proposed UST <br /> location; and was SB-4 completed in the northwest corner of the <br /> site (see Figure 2 in "Figures" section). Borings SBA through SB- <br /> 3 were completed to 16 feet in depth and boring SB-4 was <br /> completed to 11 feet in depth. <br /> Dates of Work. November 27, 2000. <br /> Drilling Method: Geoprobe.
