(Condor) conducted groundwater
monitoring and remediation activities at the above-referenced site (Site), consisting of diesel skimming
operations and a quarterly-monitoring event. This report.contains a summary of the fourth quarter 2005
diesel product removal data and results of the fourth quarter 2005 groundwater monitoring, event
conducted on November 8 and 9, 2005. Report attachments include diagrams indicating the Site location
(Figure 1) and groundwater gradient (Figure 2); Site background information; historic monitoring and
diesel product removal data; field forms; and laboratory analytical results. This report has been submitted
to the CRWQCB and the SJCEHD as indicated above.
Summary of Diesel Skimming Operations (August 26,2005 through November 9 2005)
Six diesel recovery and skimmer operations and maintenance (0/M) events were conducted at the Site
from August 26, 2005 through November 9, 2005. Free product was observed in four recovery wells
(RW-2, RW-3,RW-4, and RW-6). A total of approximately 5.19 gallons of product was recovered during
the monitoring and recovery period. Product recovery from the Site's recovery wells has produced a
cumulative total of approximately 148.85 gallons of recovered diesel'.
A new method for estimating product volumein the product recovery tank was instituted during the August 26,
2005 diesel recovery event to increase reporting consistency(see field forms). It resulted in a downward revision of
0.70 gallons to the previous recovery event product recovery tank volume(8/18/05) and a subsequent decrease to the
cumulative overall recovered diesel total. Specifically the cumulative total of recovered diesel from recovery well
RW-4 decreased by 0.70 gallons and the cumulative product recovery total for the period ending August 18, 2005
was revised from 144.36 down to 143.66 gallons.
Is
a CONDOR
