(Condor) at the <br /> request of the Libbey Owens Ford Co. (LOF). The purpose of the investigation was to evaluate <br /> ' suspected leaking underground product piping associated with an above ground diesel tank and <br /> standby generator located at the LOF site (Figures I and 2, Appendix A). <br /> 1 with the San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> All work was conducted in accordance rt q ty <br /> Environmental Health.Division (PHS/EHD), and the California Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> ' (CRWQCB) requirements. This report includes a description of the fieldwork, laboratory analyses, <br /> 1 product removal, and conclusions. <br /> 2.0 FIELDWORK <br /> 1 2.1 Excavation <br /> The investigation included the excavation of a portion of the underground piping at a jointed <br /> ' section where the leak was most likely to have occurred (Figure 3, Appendix A), Ron Rowe of the <br /> PHS/EHD was notified prior to the fieldwork and was present during the excavation., The excavation <br /> ' work was performed by Erickson Inc., of Richmond, California on July 24, 1996.
