Louise Avenue, Lathrop, California <br /> Dear Mr. Collins : <br /> I am pleased to present this work plan for a soil and <br /> groundwater investigation at the Libbey-Owens-Ford Co. (LOF) <br /> facility located in Lathrop, California. The purpose of the <br /> investigation is to evaluate possible soil and groundwater <br /> contamination caused by two hydraulic lift sumps containing <br /> hydraulic oil . <br /> Due to the limited access to the facility during operational <br /> hours and the time constraints for completion of this <br /> investigation, the field work is scheduled for Sunday, October <br /> 10th. Any extra costs associated with scheduling field work on a <br /> weekend will be paid by LOF. <br /> Also enclosed is a permit application and check for the <br /> boreholes .
