The purpose of the <br /> sampling is to establish existing soil and groundwater conditions prior to purchase. No <br /> contamination is known or suspected. The property is currently being operated as a dairy. A dairy <br /> has been located on the property since at least 1947. KC ENGINEERING COMPANY has <br /> proposed the following Scope of Services: <br /> 1. Soil and Groundwater Sampling: Three borings will be drilled using a Vibra-Push SD 500 <br /> drilling rig. Two borings will be placed downgradient, west of the existing waste ponds. One <br /> boring will be placed upgradient, east of the corrals. The borings will be drilled to <br /> approximately 45 feet below the ground surface, or until groundwater is encountered. Historic <br /> well data reported a depth to groundwater of 37.2 feet below the ground surface in the vicinity of <br /> the property in 1977. One soil sample will be collected from each boring at approximately 6 feet <br /> below the groundsurface. One groundwater sample will be collected from each boring using a <br />
