3. COMMUNICATION <br /> The following is our system of communication, designed to facilitate a continuous <br /> flow of safety and health information in a form that is readily understandable to <br /> and between all affected site personnel: <br /> ■ New employee orientation, including a discussion of site-specific safety <br /> and health policies and procedures. <br /> ■ Follow-through by supervision to ensure effectiveness. <br /> ■ Workplace-specific safety and health training. <br /> ■ Effective communication of safety and health concerns between <br /> employees and supervisors, including language translation where <br /> appropriate. <br /> ■ Posted and distributed safety information. <br /> ■ A system for employees to anonymously inform management about <br /> workplace hazards. Employees may use the locked suggestion box in <br /> lunchroom or the safety suggestion form which is located in the document <br /> folder documents/safety/safety suggestion form. <br /> ■ Code of Safe Practices. <br /> ■ Other means we use to ensure communication with employees include: <br /> safety articles in the company newsletter. Safety posters, employee <br /> training. <br /> Our organization elects to use a labor/management safety committee, meeting all <br /> the requirements of T8CCR 3203 (7)(c)(1) — (7) to comply with the <br /> communication requirements of subsection (a)(3) of T8CCR 3203. <br /> IIPP 01-21-2019 4 <br />
