11. SINGLE WELL HYDRAULIC TESTING
Upon completion of sampling, single well tests will be completed within the monitoring
wells that have a lower permeability or non-sand conditions. The wells will be selected
based on recovery during development. The slug composed of a 5-foot long 1-inch
solid PVC casing will be used to displace water. The drop and rise in water level will
be monitored using an electronic sounder. The water level change over time will be
analyzed to determine the well bore permeability. Slug tests will be analyzed using the
Bouwer and Rice Analysis and Hvorslev Analysis. These results, if available, will be
presented in the final report.
12. HYDROGEOLOGIC AND GEOLOGIC STUDY REPORT
The outline of this plan document will be used to report completed elements of this
borehole investigation including: confirmed ground water flow direction, refinement of
the conceptual ground water model and monitoring approach. Guidance within the
MRP No. R5-2007-0035 for the Monitoring Well Installation Completion Report
(MWICR)will be followed. Additional information not addressed in this plan
regarding surface water and ground water quality for supply wells in proximity to the
site may be included in the final report. The attached forms in Appendix A will be used
to report elements in the field.
Woods Dairy March 1,2010
103-27 Monitoring Well Installation Plan 18 Revision 1
