Kennedy/Jenks Consultants <br /> Section 7: Protective Actions <br /> 7.1 Personnel Protective Equipment <br /> Field personnel will wear equipment to protect against the potential physical and chemical <br /> hazards which have been identified herein and those that become apparent in the field. All <br /> PPE will be in compliance with BNSF MWORs and will include, at a minimum, orange hardhat <br /> with reflective material, Class II Reflective Safety Vest with "X" design on back, safety-toe <br /> boots, and eye protection. Hearing protection will be made available and will be used when <br /> necessary. Jewelry, including rings and necklaces, are prohibited when working on BNSF <br /> property. <br /> Guidelines for Contaminants Commonly Encountered at K/J Sites provide guidance in <br /> assessing potential hazards and selecting the appropriate protection. Level D protection will <br /> be required at a minimum for field activities at the site.
