One sample will be collected
from the upper clay unit at 10 to 12 ft bgs and the other sample will be collected from the
upper sandy unit at 20 to 22 ft bgs
' These samples will be mixed together in equal proportions to make 50 50 ratio This location
for sampling will provide enough room for drilling away from other subsurface influences
such as closely spaced well and soil excavation Soil samples will be collected using a
licensed driller All soil core samples will be sealed with Teflon, capped with end caps,
marked for vertical orientation, labeled and placed in a chilled cooler for transport to the
' laboratory following Chain of Custody protocol
4.0 BENCH SCALE TEST LABORATORY
The soil and water samples will be sent to the SECOR International Inc The work plan from
SECOR is appended in Appendix B with cost table for the bench scale study
4.1. Soil Laboratory Analyses
SECOR International Inc will analyze the soil samples and will prepare a study report
evaluating the data in light of the objectives stated in work plan (Appendix B).
1
