16
CLEARWATER
' 4.0 RESULTS
4.1 Water Level Monitoring Data
' The depth to groundwater in the monitoring wells ranged from 23 83 to 24 46 feet
below top of casing on March 7, 1995 Wells MW-1 and MW-2 were found to
' contain SPH (0 16 feet and separate-phase droplets, respectively) These wells were
not sampled The local groundwater flow direction was calculated to be towards the
northeast at an approximate gradient of 0 12% (0 0012 feet/foot) The groundwater
elevation calculated for MW-1 was not used to plot groundwater elevation contours
as the result was anomalous relative to previously obtained elevations The
groundwater flow direction and gradient have been variable during the course of
the site investigation. Groundwater elevations are presented on Table 1
Groundwater elevation contours are presented on Figure 3
4.2 Ground Water Analytical Results
None of the subject analytes were detected in groundwater samples collected from
any of the sampled wells A summary of analytical results is presented on Table 1
Hydrocarbon concentrations are shown on Figure 4 A copy of the laboratory reports
and chain-of-custody form is attached as Appendix C
5.0 D:SCUSS:QN
Clearwater is in the process of scheduling a groundwater/soil vapor extraction/air
sparging pilot test. This test will utilize a recently installed groundwater extraction
well, two new air spargmg wells, and existing vapor extraction wells The scope of
the testing is detailed in a workplan approved by the PHS/EHD It is anticipated that
the test will be completed within the next two weeks
6
ID-107 QMR 2 4/21/95
