7155 _ PRE n. FOE - .r w approximately .38 feet deep. The excavated area is shown on Plate 2. The final excavated area was 25 feet: wide x 47 feet long x 38 ^� feet: deep.. A total of approximately 1700 cu.yd. were removed for aeration. In the event that vapor extraction would be requirad later, three screened vent lines were placed horizontally in the bottom oi:,the pit acrciss the 25' dimension and surfaced in 4" pvc- pipe. -'A 2" _ vent,A ine was placed along the south wall of the pit at the face of. the.,shop building and surfaced in a 2" pvc pipe.
