collected from boring MW-13 at a depth of 80.5 feet contained 0.4 mg/kg
of toluene and 0.4 mg/kg of xylenes.
The ground-water sample from well MW-12 did not contain detectable
concentrations of TPHG, TPHD, or BTEX. The samples from wells MW-10
' and MW-11 did not contain detectable concentrations of TPHD. The
samples from wells MW-10, MW-11 , and MW-12 contained concentrations
of TPHG and BTEX. The highest concentrations were detected in the
sample from well MW-13, which contained 19,000 milligrams per liter (mg/1)
of TPHG, 580 mg/I of benzene, 3,000 mg/1 of toluene, 440 mg/I of
ethylbenzene, and 3,100 mg/I of xylenes. The sample from well MW-13
' contained 1 ,400 mg/1 of a petroleum hydrocarbon which was quantified as
diesel but was reported by the laboratory to be a lower boiling point
hydrocarbon mixture.
3.6 Well Elevation Survey
' As part of the prefield activities for the site, top-of-casing and ground
surface elevations were measured for each of the previously installed
ground-water monitoring wells. These elevations were surveyed to the
nearest 0.01 foot relative to the city of Stockton benchmark
number B.B.1-11 located in a planter at the front of the Fair Oaks Library
at 2370 East Main Street in Stockton_ The surveying was conducted on July
29, 1992, by Yolo Engineers and Surveyors.
The new ground-water monitoring wells (MW-12 and MW-13) were
' surveyed by Yolo Engineers and Surveyors on August 26, 1992. The
top-of-casing and ground surface elevations for each of the wells were
' surveyed to the nearest 0.01 foot relative to the same benchmark used
during the previous survey. The ground surface and top-of-casing elevations
for all of the on-site monitoring wells are presented in Table 1.
1 '
ip1010f9010f900020.1 ag 3 - 4 Rev. 0 December 15, 1992
