® latex inner gloves
C nitrile outer gloves
All personnel assigned to work in areas that may require respiratory pro-
tection will be fit-tested for and trained in the usage, limitations, care, and
maintenance of air-purifying respirators.
' Work Zones
This section provides a brief description of the site work zones that will be
observed during the investigation. Evacuation routes will be planned dur-
ing the initial safety meeting. Work zone boundaries will be delineated in
the field by the use of safety cones, barricades, and flagging tape. The
designated meeting place in case of evacuation will be determined each
day in the field, based on the field activity planned.
Decontamination
As part of the system to prevent or reduce the physical transfer of con-
taminants by people and equipment from the site, decontamination proce-
dures will be performed before leaving the site. All reusable equipment will
be rinsed or steam cleaned. Disposable protective clothing and equipment
will be placed in on-site trash containers. Drilling returns will be drummed.
Purge and decontamination water will also be containerized for on-site
treatment or off-site disposal. All containerized wastes generated during
the investigation will be sealed, labeled, and stored in a designated area
pending completion of laboratory analyses.
1
pjf1f921f920201 a A - 3 Rev. 0 June 1, 1992
