STK3 Stockton Cleanup Journal 103 North E Street 08-11-88 Triangle removed one 1 OK gal, gasoline tank, C-12. There was minor contamination around tank fill. LBME applied for permits to continue investigation of contamination. 08-23-88 LBME submitted proposal to San Joaquin Health Dept. to overexcavate contamination and backfill hole left by removal of C-12. 09-29-88 Contaminated soil around 1 OK gal. gasoline tank, C-12 was overexcavated for aeration. 09-30-88 LBME sampled soil in excavated pit where C-12 was removed. 10-05-88 LBME sent lab results to San Joaquin Health Dept. for bottom of tank hole where 0-12 was removed. All samples were clean. 10-31-88 Baylor's spent 8 hours this month discing soil for aeration. 11-30-88 Baylor's spent 4 hours this month discing soil for aeration. 12-31-88 Baylor's spent 3 hours this month discing soil for aeration. 03-24-89 Baylor's spent 2 hours this month discing soil for aeration. 04-19-89 LBME sampled remediated soil from excavation on 9-29-88. 05-21-89 Elder Engineering sent lab test results to San Joaquin Health Dept. for soil over-excavated on 9-29-88. Soil was remediated and tested clean at 1.4 ppm on 4-19-88. • 02-09-90 Permits requested on 8-11-88 have still not been issued. During this 18 month period, the ground water dropped from 35to 62'. Since MW 3, 4, 5 were only 55 they were now useless. Requested permission to install MW 9, 10 and 11. 03-20-90 LBME installed three monitoring wells (MW 9, 10, 11). Installation completed on 3-23-90. MW 9, 10 are 2"wells and MW 11 is a 4"well. 03-30-90 TPH, toiulene and xylene in MW 9, 10, 11 are below action level. MW 11 showed 1 ppb of benzene. 04-24-90 LBME sampled MW 9, 10, 11. MW 11 showed benzene as non-detect. 03-18-91 Elder Engineering sampled MW 9, 10, 11. 06-10-91 Elder Engineering sampled MW 9, 10, 11. 10-15-91 Al Mercer and George Takemori met with Steve Schneider and Margaret Lagorio from San Joaquin Public Health Services to discuss letters dated 10-10-90, 9-13-91 and 9-26-91. 02-03-92 Elder Engineering sampled barreled purge and development water from MW 9, 10, 11. 08-12-92 EMCON installed MW 12, 13 and 892-1. 08-24-92 EMCON sampled MW 10, 11, 12 and 13. • 10-13-92 EMCON performed a soil vapor extraction test on MW 13 and existing vapor extraction grid.
