Reeves Exxon,2360 East Rd.,Tracy,CA <br /> Site Code#1397 <br /> August 10, 1992 <br /> Page 3 <br /> ♦ Re-sampling of the. soil pile was completed on August 4, 1992, under the direct <br /> supervision of Mr. .Infurna: RESNA is awaiting sample analysis data -from-the <br /> laboratory, and has contacted Forward Landfill to expedite soil transport and <br /> acceptance to Forward upon receipt,of analytical results; <br /> ♦ Regarding items outlined in'Appendix A - Tri-Regional Guidelines: <br /> - Analytical data tabulated, to the present (Second Quarter Monitoring and <br /> Sampling Report, July 21, 1992); <br /> Figures delineating horizontal and vertical extent of contamination in soil <br /> and groundwater as defined thus far (RESNA correspondence dated May <br /> 29, 1992); <br /> - Groundwater gradient defined and plotted based upon most recent data <br /> (Second Quarter Monitoring and Sampling Report, July 21, 1992); <br /> - Groundwater is found between 6 and 8 feet and soils above groundwater <br /> are mainly fine grained soils, clays and elastic silts. Sand lenses were <br /> encountered in the upgradient well (MW3). .(Well/boring logs - PAR - <br /> Summary Report, Assessment of Soil and Groundwater Contamination <br /> February 12, 1992); <br /> Map showing buildings, local wells.and utilities are included in reports <br /> and correspondence. <br /> - "Zero line" map and,cross sections, as defined by work completed to date <br /> (correspondence dated May 29, 1992); <br /> - Aquifer testing has not been conducted at the site. <br /> ♦ Quarterly activities Ion the first quarter of 1992 were addressed in RESNA <br /> correspondence dated July'8, 1992; <br /> ♦ Second quarter monitoring/sampling was conducted on June 26, 1992 under the <br /> direct supervision of Mr. Infurna and a quarterly .monitoring report was submitted <br /> within 30 days {July 21, 1992); <br /> ♦ A map detailing the location of all domestic, irrigation and monitoring wells near <br /> the site (no were with0 feet of thest) was included with the Second <br /> Quarter 1992 Monitoring. and Sampling Report dated July 21, 1992; <br /> REL80792.LF <br />
