Chronology <br /> John Pestana Q-Tip Trust <br /> 2360 East Street, Tracy CA 95376 <br /> 01/07/91 Date the Environmental Health Department (EHD) received The Environmental <br /> Construction Company's (TECC) report, Preliminary Subsurface Assessment <br /> dated August 15, 1990 that details the installation of six hand auger borings <br /> onsite and soil sample collection. This work was done without the EHD's <br /> knowledge or issuance of a boring permit. Elevated levels of petroleum was <br /> detected in soil and ground water samples. <br /> 01/11/91 Date the EHD was notified by Resna Consulting of a failed precision test on a <br /> 5500 gallon gasoline underground storage tank (UST) at the site. <br /> 01/14/91 A Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge was filed on this date. <br /> 04/05/91 An Unauthorized Release Report was filed on this date. <br /> 04/11/91 Date the site was placed in the Local Oversight Program. <br /> 04/12/91 Two 5500 gallon gasoline USTs, one 5500 gallon diesel UST and one waste oil <br /> UST was removed from the site on this date under EHD permit and inspection. <br /> 12117-18191 Monitoring wells MW1 — MW3 (screened from 5 -20 feet) and soil borings SB1 — <br /> SB1 1 were completed during this time. <br /> 02/19/92 Date the EHD received Resna's Summary Report Assessment of Soil and <br /> Ground Water Contamination dated February 12, 1992. The report discusses the <br /> failed UST precision test when 300 gallons of gasoline may have been released <br /> into the subsurface, the UST removals and soil samples collected, installation of <br /> monitoring wells MW1 - MW-3 and soil borings SB1 — S131 1. <br /> 03/17/94 Date hand auger borings EP1 — EP4 to 5 feet were completed in the sidewalk <br /> north of the site. <br /> 05/14/94 Date of the report that has the results of the hand auger investigation that was <br /> conducted in March 1994. <br /> 07/22/94 Date hand auger borings EP5 — EP7 to 10 feet were completed on the adjacent <br /> property and northeast of the UST location. <br /> 10/07/94 Date of the report that has the results of the hand auger investigation that was <br /> conducted in July 1994. <br /> 07110-11197 Date hand auger borings HB1-HB 11 were completed to obtain current soil data <br /> around the USTs, piping and dispensers. <br />
