J <br /> SMTH <br /> ENVIRONMENTALTECHNOLOGfES CORPORATION <br /> June 16, 1995 <br /> 94-333-001 JUN I g 1995 <br /> Mr Michael Infurna ENVIRONMENTAL yEALTIj <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services PERMIT/SERVICES <br /> Environmental Health Division <br /> P O Box 388 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> Subject First Quarter 1995 Groundwater Monitoring Report <br /> King Island Resort, Site Code 1557 <br /> 11530 West Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California <br /> Mr Infurna <br /> This letter report is submitted to present results of first quarter 1995 monitoring and sampling <br /> activities at 11530 West Eight Mile Road, Stockton, California (Figure 1) Activities included <br /> i� measuring depth to water in all site monitoring wells for determination of groundwater gradient, <br /> and purging and sampling well MW6 <br /> GROUNDWATER MONITORING AND SAMPLING <br /> Canonie/Smith Environmental Technologies Corporation (Smith Environmental) personnel <br /> conducted groundwater monitoring and sampling at the subject site on March 8, 1995 A Smith <br /> Environmental technician measured water levels from each monitoring well prior to purging and <br /> sampling Water levels rose an average of 1 87 feet since December 1994 Groundwater flows to <br /> the northeast away from the slough, with a gradient of approximately 0 066 feet per foot A <br /> groundwater gradient map for March 8, 1995 is shown on Figure 2 <br /> A Smith Environmental technician collected groundwater samples from well MW6 in accordance <br /> with the field methods outlined in Attachment 1 Field purge logs are included in Attachment 2 <br /> Samples were analyzed for total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd), total petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, and xylenes (BTEX) using EPA <br /> Methods 8015 modified and 8020, respectively No petroleum hydrocarbon constituents were <br /> detected in well MW6 with the exception of toluene at 13 parts per billion (ppb) Analytical results <br /> are summarized in Table 2 Laboratory reports and chain of custody documentation are included in <br /> Attachment 3 <br /> 1500751QUARTLYIIQR-1995 doc <br /> 1710 Matn Street • Escalon,CA 95320 (209) 838-3507 • fax(209)838-3509 <br /> Engineenng • Consulting Remediation • Construction <br />
