' <br /> • Domestic drinking water well which has not been sampled since 1989. <br /> • Leachfield, approximately 30 x 40 feet, located west of Intrepid Marine. <br /> King-Island <br /> M <br /> •- Two USTs <br /> piping and USTs passed integrity testing in 1995 <br /> - 4,000-gallon unleaded gasoline (contained diesel until 1994), installed in the <br /> early 1960s ,k <br /> - 6,000-gallon unleaded gasoline, installed in the early 1960s <br /> pressure piping (single wall) above and below ground <br /> • One 2,000-gallon UST that contained leaded gasoline. The UST was removed in July 1991 <br /> and was reported to be in good condition. Some' iping is still located under the grocery <br /> store building which has never been sampled. The piping was connected to the dispenser in <br /> front of the grocery store. The dispenser was removed in 1989. <br /> • Domestic drinking water well which has not been sampled since 1989: <br /> E <br /> • Five septic tanks and associated ieachfieids <br /> E. <br /> Project Objectives - <br /> .i <br /> Based on conversations with representatives of the subject property, the information obtained during the Phase <br /> 1, the previous soil and groundwater investigation on the King Island property and the type of property <br /> transaction, a preliminary soil and groundwater investigation will be performed to evaluate subsurface <br /> conditions in the areas of concern listed above. <br /> F <br /> `k I <br /> Task 1: Preliminary Field Activities <br /> l <br /> Prior to drilling, SECOR will prepare a Site-Specific Health and Safety Plan. A geophysical survey will be <br /> conducted at selected areas of the subject property. Survey methods will include a closed loop antenna locating <br /> device for locating both ferrous and non-ferrous metals, an electro-magnetic induction unit and a <br /> magnetometer.
