The QMR discusses the groundwater monitoring activities conducted in
June and recommends abandoning and replacing monitoring well MW-1 and discontinuing
methanol and ethanol analyses for all wells. The Work Plan proposes to inject ORC® into four
borings located 12 feet north, south, east and west of monitoring well MW-3.
Staff of the Regional Board's Underground Storage Tank Section has also reviewed the reports
listed above, and those comments are included in this letter.
1. The step draw-down pumping test started pumping at a rate of two gallons per minute,
but does not include a discussion of the rationale for starting this type of pumping test at
such a high rate. H&H Marina needs to provide the rationale for the pumping rates
selected for the step draw-down pumping test.
California Environmental Protection Agency
Qa Recycled Paper
The energy challenge facing California is real. Every Californian needs to take immediate action to reduce energy consumption.
For a list of simple ways you can reduce demand and cut yourenergy costs, see our Web-site at http://www.swrcb.ca.gov/mgcb5
