FINDINGS <br />' • Soil descriptions were utilized to construct the site geological model, laboratory analysis of soil <br /> samples were utilized to assess the petroleum hydrocarbon-impact on soil r <br /> I <br /> 31 STRATIGRAPHY <br />' Generally,black,wet to saturated,organic peat was encountered from surface grade to approximately <br /> 12 feet bsg Green-gray, damp to saturated, clays, clayey silts and clayey sands were encountered <br /> from approximately 12 feet bsg to 28 feet,bsg and from approximately 32 feet to 50 feet bsg Brown, <br /> I wet fat to lean clay was encountered from approximately 28 feet to 32 feet bsg Black to gray, <br /> saturated, fine to medium poorly graded sand was encountered from approximately 50 feet bsg to <br />' 55 feet bsg Black,saturated,medium well graded sand was encountered from approximately 55 feet <br /> bsg to 60 feet bsg Lanes of cross section are illustrated on Figure 2 and a stratagraphic cross section <br /> as depicted on Figure 3 <br /> IHydrocarbon-like odor was detected an soil samples collected above 35 feet bsg from borings MW6 <br /> and MW7 In addition, organic vapor was detected by the OVM an soil samples collected from <br /> Iborings MW5,MW6, and MW7 at concentrations as high as above the maximum detection limit of <br /> 2,000 parts per million (ppm) in samples MW6-15, MW6-20 and MW6-25 Organic vapor field <br /> Imeasurements are included on the boring logs an Appendix B <br /> • <br /> IAdvanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
