' Report-Soil and Groundwater Investigation
Herman&Helen's Marina
September 30, 1996
' Page-5-
3.5.2 Analytical Results - Groundwater
' Four (4) groundwater samples were collected for chemical analysis (GP-1, GP-2, GP-4, and
GP-5). Groundwater was not encountered at GP-3. Each groundwater sample was labeled according
' to the project number, Geoprobe number, and sampling date.
' The laboratory analyses indicate TPH-G, BTEX, and MTBE in the groundwater sample
collected from GP-4. Low BTEX concentrations were detected in the groundwater collected from
' GP-1 and GP-2. TEPH was not detected in any of the groundwater samples. The results of the
groundwater analyses are shown in Table 2, below. Laboratory report sheets indicating analytical
' methods used, detection limits, and results of analyses are located in Appendix C.
' TABLE 2
Chemical Analyses (Groundwater - August 1996)
B T E X MTBE TPH-G TEPH
' Detection 0.3 0.3 0.3 0.6 1.0 0.05 0.05-0.5
Sample I.D. In addition,
' moisture content, porosity, and dry bulk density were determined in the permeability analysis. The
results of the testing are contained in Table 3 below. The laboratory report sheets are located in
' Appendix C.
•
 CONDOR
