Laboratory reports <br /> with chain-of-custody documents are presented in Att2chment 2. Table 2 summarizes laboratory <br /> results since April 1991. <br /> On January 21, I992, an Authority to Construct permit (No. AP91-467) was granted 1'Ut cn <br /> inte<-nal combustion engine to be used for in-situ soil remediation system at the site. Tne system <br /> became operational on January 24, 1992. During its operational period, the system removed 70 <br /> pounds of contaminants from the soil. The system was shut-down, however, on March 13, <br /> 1992, due to performance restrictions inherent to the extraction vapor. However, to maximize <br /> remediation efforts, a Thermal Oxidizer became operational on March 31, 1992 after approval <br /> of an Authority to Construct p rmit. <br /> { <br /> Construction of the groundwater remediation system is complete and ready for start-up pending <br /> approval of the Waste Discharge g <br /> g permit from the California Regional Water Quality Control <br /> i Board.
