i, <br /> ORO <br /> FUGRO WEST, INC. <br /> 1050 Melody Lane,Suite 160 <br /> Roseville California 95678 <br /> Tel (916)782 2110 <br /> August 11, 1994 FAX (916)786-7830 <br /> Mr Lynn Walker <br /> Shell Oil Company <br /> Post Office Box 4023 <br /> Concord, California 94524 <br /> Subject Groundwater Mondonng and Remediation Status Report <br /> Second Quarter 1994 <br /> Former Shell Service Station (WIC No 204-7524-1509) <br /> 141 N El Dorado, Stockton California <br /> Dear Mr Walker <br /> Fugro West, Inc (Fugro), is pleased to provide Shell Oil Company the attached <br /> Information documenting the results of quarterly groundwater monitoring, conducted on <br /> May 10, 1994, at the subject site by Blaine Tech Services, Inc , of San Jose, California <br /> (Attachment 1), results of soil venting system sampling (Attachment 2), groundwater <br /> pumping/ sewer discharge sampling (Attachment 3), and start-up of the groundwater <br /> oxygenation (GO) system (Attachment 4) <br /> The remediation systems were shut down while the following modifications were made, <br /> between June 13 and July 8, 1994 <br /> A GO system consisting of an air compressor, programmable timer and <br /> accessories, and air diffusers in wells MW-1, MW-2, MW-3, MW-4, RW-1 , and RW- <br /> 2 was installed System start-up was conducted on July 11, 1994 with air diffusers <br /> in operation in monitoring wells MW-1, MW-2, and MW-3 as approved by the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department <br /> The conveyance piping to discharge water from the groundwater pumping system <br /> to the City of Stockton sewer was re-routed under the site <br /> Monitoring well MW-3 was connected to the soil venting system (extraction <br /> commenced on July 8, 1994) <br /> The electronic controller for operation of the groundwater pumping system was re- <br /> programmed We suspect the program was erased due to electric power <br /> disruption during site construction <br /> P i ✓ ('�fi <br /> 93473011 ASR U S operating companies in California, Louisiana Missouri and Texas <br /> International operating companies in Australia Belgium, Brunei, Canada Germany Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan <br /> Malaysia The Netherlands Saudi Arabia Singapore United Kingdom, and United Arab Emirates. <br />
