222 North EI Dorado Street <br /> Page 2 <br /> September 14,1999 <br /> Underground Service Alert and Geophysical Investigation <br /> As required by law, Underground Service Alert (USA) will be contacted 48 hours prior to <br /> initiation of work. <br /> Abandonment. <br /> Two, two-inch monitoring wells and one, four-inch monitoring well will be abandoned. An <br /> augur will be placed over the existing well casing and drilled to the total depth of the well. <br /> The two-inch wells will be abandoned using an eight-inch augur, and the four-inch well will <br /> be abandoned using a ten-inch augur. Once the drilling is complete all soil cuttings will be <br /> drummed for disposal at the nearest landfill. As required by the landfill, onecomposite <br /> om <br /> sample collected frthe drums of waste will be analyzed for To al lead, Total Petroleum <br /> Hydrocarbons as Gasoline (TPH-G), for Benzene, Toluene, Ethyl benzene, and Xylene (BTEX) <br /> by EPA method 801518020.
