provided in Appendix VIII.
The depths to groundwater were measured with reference to a selected mark at
the northern edge of the well cover. The elevations of the top of the groundwater
were calculated by subtracting the depth to groundwater from the elevations of
the reference mark in each monitoring well. The obtained groundwater elevations
' were contoured and the gradient and flow direction are shown in Figure 4,
Groundwater Contour Map (Appendix I). The Groundwater Contour Map shows
that the groundwater flow direction is to the southeast at a gradient of 0.009 fo
per foot (horizontal distance/vertical height). The results of the monitoring well
survey are summarized in Table I.
' TABLE I
MONITORING WELL SURVEY RESULTS
Monitoring Elevation of Elevation of Depth to Elevation of
Well PVC Reference Vault Box Groundwater Groundwater
Reference (Vault Box Ref.)
' MW1 11.54 11.88 27.90 -16.02
MW2 11.37 11.83 27.29 -15.46
!40 M W 3 11.45 11.88 26.64 -14.76
' Note: All elevations are referred to Mean Sea Level.
5.0 LABORATORY ANALYTICAL RESULTS
5.1 Soil Samples
The soil samples from the borings were analyzed for TPH as gasoline and diesel
in accordance with EPA Method 8015 Modified and for VOCs in accordance with
EPA Method 8260.
The results of the analyses for the soil samples are summarized in Table II below.
' Detailed laboratory results with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC)
documentation are provided in Appendix IX.
CRC Environmental Risk Management,Inc.
