Advance cone penetrometer (CPT) borings to 100 feet below surface grade (bsg) on <br /> and off site at four locations. At each location, one CPT boring for sounding and <br /> one CPT boring for soil and groundwater sample collection will be installed for a <br /> total of 8 borings for the scope of this work plan. <br /> 2. Install two monitoring wells with screen based on CPT sounding data at the site to <br /> evaluate the vertical extent of the groundwater contamination. <br /> COMMENTS AND CONDITIONS: <br /> 1. As discussed in a telephone conversation with AGE on July 25,2002,EHD requests <br /> the 4 proposed CPT borings for sounding purposes be reduced to 3 CPT borings <br /> since previous on-site investigation (B-4/MW-1) has provided some geological <br /> characterization data down to 80 feet bsg.
