ANALYTICAL RESULTS OF SOIL SAMPLES
• TPH as diesel, motor oil and gasoline was detected at concentrations ranging from 470
mg/kg to 1.6 mg/kg.
• Toluene was detected at concentration of 0.010 mg/kg.
• Three target VOC analytes were also detected, sec-Butyl benzene at 150 gg/mg, n-Propel
benzene at 71 gg/mg and 1,2,4-Trimethylbenzene at 410 µg/mg.
Copies of the analytical results are attached as Appendix A, and summarized in Table 1.
2.3. OIL WATER SEPARATOR REMOVAL AND IMPACTED SOIL EXCAVATION
AGE recommended the removal, and proper disposal of the separator, including excavation of
impacted soil at the site. Following the oil water separator removal, a limited excavation of
approximately ten-cubic yards was performed which encountered contaminated soil approximately
11 feet below surface grade (bsg).
3.0. SCOPE OF WORK
The proposed scope of the work includes advancement of four soil probe borings to collect soil and
grab ground water samples to assess soil and groundwater at the site for the known contaminants.
The proposed scope of work will include the following tasks:
• Permitting and pre-field work activities;
• Soil and ground water sample collection and analysis;
• Laboratory reporting;
• Report preparation.
Each of these tasks is described in greater detail below.
Advanced Gco Envirauncn[al.Inc.
