Hartrna=&Semens <br /> • Stockton Plating.Incorporated <br /> 632 South El Dorado Street <br /> Stockton.CA 95203-3407 <br /> Page 5 <br /> • workplan for accomplishing the work referenced above for submittal to San Joaquin <br /> County, <br /> • costs for 3-CPT penetrations to 50' BGS depth collecting samples every 5 feet below 10' <br /> BGS, <br /> costs for 9 soil vapor vertical profiling penetrations to 50' BGS depth followed by 4 soil <br /> sampling runs to 50' BGS for collection of plume boundary confirmation samples <br /> cherrucal analyses by a California State accredited laboratory for up to 40 soil samples for <br /> TPHg,TEL and total lead <br /> incorporation of the resulting data into a PIER report_ <br /> The final results must be acceptable to the lead investigative agency (LIA) with respect to <br /> methods of assessment and quality of data generated Samples will be collected, transported and <br /> analyzed according to USEPA SW-846 and Tri-Regional Board Staff Recommendations for <br /> Preliminary Evaluation and Investigation of Underground Tank Sites (October, 1990 and August, <br /> 1991) protocols <br /> BID REQUIREMENTS <br /> This project must be managed by an appropnately qualified California Registered Geologist <br /> (RG) with at least 5 years documented continuous expenence in UST site investigations, <br /> hydrogeologic and vadose zone feasibility studies, and treatment system design/operation <br /> Documentation to this effect, with references, must be provided with your bid <br /> We will require a copy of the 40-hour OSHA. approved Hazardous Waste Operation trauung <br /> certificates for all parties on site conducting the investigation as well as copies of the licenses <br /> being utilized for this project by the contractor and its subcontractors <br /> All costs for workplans, health and safety plans, permits, outside contractors, sampling, sample <br /> analyses, project management, report preparation and all associated costs must be included in <br /> your bid Bids which are judged as incomplete with respect to work effort, costing or technical <br /> competency will be considered unresponsive to the bid specifications and disallowed Bids must <br /> be complete as proffered. Bidders are cautioned against telephone calls directed towards <br /> clarification as the bid specification has a secondary purpose in assessing problem <br /> • recognition, innovation and technical skills of bid respondents.
