The successful bidder will be <br /> contacted by telephone to arrange final negotiations for contract award. In the event that a <br /> contract cannot be'negotiated, the next most responsive bidder will be contacted and the process <br /> repeated until a contract is awarded or another IFB issued. We reserve the right to relent any and <br /> all bids. Field work must commence within 30 calendar days of the award date Completion is <br /> anticipated within 9 months of contract award <br /> All invoices must be provided with narTatives from the consultant in amounts greater than <br /> $10,000 so that they can be immediately submitted to the USTCF for reimbursement Narratives <br /> must also consider subcontractor invoices with respect to budget position and reasonableness of <br /> accumulated charges for services rendered <br /> Cost estimates must be submitted in spreadsheet form with your bid Estimates must also <br /> . contain unit cost estimates for invasive penetrations specified in your proposal Wherever <br /> possible, an effort should be made to provide unit cost rtes for labor and materials such that <br /> should additional work be required,these extensions can be dealt with on unit cost rates which is <br /> acceptable to the USTCF An electronically readable spreadsheet is not necessary as a part of <br /> your submittal package, but may be required upon project award <br /> Costs for proposal preparation are not reimbursable as a consequence of this bid specification <br /> Your bids will be reviewed for technical content fust to determine bid responsiveness Bids <br /> deemed unresponsive will be refected without appeal Bids considered technically competent <br /> and responsive to the bid specification herein will then be reviewed for cost competitiveness <br /> Contract award may be preceded by a techrucal/fiscal interview <br /> Respondents are advised to address their bids to <br /> Mr. Jeffrey B.
