II Dorado Street <br /> SudEton, California <br /> I <br />' 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br />' This report presents the results of the soil and groundwater <br /> investigation conducted by Condor Earth Technologies, Inc . <br />' (Condor) at the Stockton Plating facility located at 632 S. E1 <br /> Dorado Street in Stockton, California (Figure 1) . The report was <br />' prepared at the request by Mr. Bob Huntley of Stockton Plating, <br /> Inc . (SPI) for submission to the San Joaquin County Environmental <br /> Health Department (SJCEHD) and the California Regional Water <br />' Quality Control Board, Central Valley Region (CRWQCB, CVR) . The <br /> report includes a discussion of the site background and <br /> descriptions of the fieldwork and laboratory analyses conducted <br /> during the investigation. The investigation summary, conclusions <br /> and recommendations are presented in Section 7 . 0 of the report. <br /> 2.0 SITE BACKGROUND <br /> The SPI site is located in an industrial portion of west <br /> central Stockton and is situated between the Santa Fe Railroad <br /> and Mormon Slough. The area has a history of commercial activity <br /> including a large abandoned linen cleaning facility located <br /> approximately 75 yards to the east of the SPY site.
