HEALTH AND SAFETY PROCEDURES <br /> CONDOR EARTH TECHNOLOGIES <br />' STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE <br /> CONCERNING HEALTH AND SAFETY <br />' Condor Earth Technologies, Inc. has adopted the following health and <br /> safety procedures for working with organic vapors and liquid contaminants <br />' encountered during investigative drilling and sampling operations. The purpose <br /> of this program is to provide health and safety precautions for the initial and <br /> subsequent site visits until the nature and magnitude of the contaminants have <br />' been defined. <br /> All work will be done in accordance with current OSHA regulations and all <br />' personnel working within the exclusion zone will have completed a 40-hour OSHA <br /> training course. A tailgate safety meeting will be held prior to commencement of <br /> work each day and a site-specific Health and Safety Plan will be discussed with <br /> and presented to all crew members for their signatures. <br /> A. Access to the project site shall be limited by the site perimeter (minimum <br /> of 20 feet). In no case shall the exclusion zone for all non-authorized <br /> personnel be less than 20 feet from the borehole location. No smoking will <br /> be allowed in the exclusion zone. <br /> B. The site manager shall coordinate all activities of equipment and personnel <br /> at the project site. Site manager responsibilities will include the following: <br /> I. Limiting access within the site perimeter to authorized personnel. <br /> 2. Providing written log of on-site activities and events. <br /> 3. On-site containment of potentially contaminated drill cuttings and <br /> water. <br /> 4. Monitoring ambient air vapor concentrations on the site perimeter. <br /> t5. Notification of regulatory agencies during emergency procedures as <br /> defined in step C below. <br /> 6. Enforcement of site safety precautions. <br /> Page -1 of 4- <br /> h <br />
