15 June 2004 <br /> AGE-NC Project No 95-0142 <br /> Page 7 of 12 <br /> The samples collected were logged on a chain-of-custody form, placed in a chilled container and <br /> transported to McCampbell Analytical Inc (MAI), a California Department of Health Services <br /> (DHS)-certified laboratory, for analysis The effluent samples were analyzed for <br /> • Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as gasoline/diesel(TPH-g/d)by EPA Method 8015 <br /> Modified, <br /> • Volatile aromatic compounds(VOCs)-benzene,toluene, ethyl benzene and xylene (BTEX) <br /> with methyl-tertiary butyl ether(MTBE) by EPA Methods 8260, <br /> • Volatile and Semi-volatile compounds (VOC and SVOC) by EPA Methods 6241625, <br /> • Metals Cd, Cr, Cu, Pb, Ni and Zn in accordance with EPA Method 200 Modified and <br /> • pH in accordance with EPA Method 150 1 <br /> Influent samples were analyzed for TPH-g by EPA method 8015 Modified and VOCs by EPA <br /> Methods 8260 <br /> 2 3 2 Influent and Effluent Monthly Monitoring Procedures <br /> In order to verify and quantify the mass of contamination from each extraction well and to comply <br /> with the requirements of the City of Stockton discharge permit, monthly momtonng and sampling <br /> of influent and effluent ground water samples was performed on 11 February and 11 March 2004 <br /> The samples were collected in laboratory-supplied 40-m1 EPA-approved volatile VOA vials <br /> containing 0 5 ml 18%hydrochloric acid as a preservative, l-liter amber bottles without preservative <br /> and 500-milliliter plastic bottles without preservative,and then labeled with the sample designation, <br /> date, time, and sampler's initials The influent samples were subsequently logged on a chain-of- <br /> custody form, placed in a chilled container and transported to MAI for analysis for <br /> • TPH-g by EPA Method 8015 Modified and <br /> • BTEX and MTBE by EPA Methods 8020 <br /> The effluent samples were analyzed for <br /> • TPH-g/d by EPA Method 8015 Modified, <br /> • BTEX and MTBE by EPA Methods 8020 and fuel additives by EPA Methods 8260 and <br /> • pH in accordance with EPA Method 150 1 <br /> Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
