IN-SITU GROUND WATER SAMPLE COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS
At the total depth of each of the soil probe borings,grab ground water samples will be collected and
analyzed to determine the vertical extent of impacted ground water. In-situ ground water sample
collection procedures are presented in Section 4.3.
Selected groundwater samples will be analyzed by a DHS-certified laboratory for:
• TPH-g in accordance with EPA Methods 3510 and 8015 Modified;
• BTEX with MTBE in accordance with EPA Method 602/8020; and
• DIPE, ETBE, MTBE, TAME, and TBA in accordance with EPA Method 8260 Modified.
Laboratory reports for ground water analyses, testing methods, laboratory quality assurance/quality
control (QA/QC) reports, and sample chain of custody documentation will be presented in a report
with the findings and recommendations.
3.4. HYDROCARBON MASS CALCULATION
Upon completion of field work, if appropriate, the data gathered wilt be utilized to determine an
approximate mass of remaining hydrocarbons in soil and ground water.
.Advanced GeuEnvirnnmental.Inc.
