• Additional Site Assessment and Monitoring Well Installation Report <br /> CHARLIE'S DAY AND NITE <br />' 706 North E1 Dorado Street, Stockton, California <br />' 1.0. INTRODUCTION <br /> At the request of Mr Charles Skobrak,Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc (AGE)has prepared this <br />' additional site assessment and monitoring wells installation report for the property located at 706 <br /> North El Dorado Street, Stockton, California The site and the surrounding area are illustrated in <br /> Figure 1 Structures, soil borings and monitoring well locations are illustrated on Figure 2 <br />' This additional site assessment was conducted in accordance with Central Valley Regional onal Water <br />' Quality Control Board(CVRWQCB) guidelines for the investigation of underground storage tank <br /> (UST) sites Background information and findings of previous investigations at the site are <br /> summarized in the AGE-prepared Preliminary Investigation and Evaluation Report-March 1999" <br />' dated 26 March 1999 <br /> 2.0. PROCEDURES _ <br /> Tasks and procedures for this investigation were completed in two phases by AGE personnel and <br /> • were conducted under the supervision of a California Registered Geologist in accordance with the <br /> AGE-prepared Monitoring Well Installation Work Plan -Modified Addendum, dated 30 June 1999 <br /> and Work Plan Addendum-May 2001 dated 25 May 2001 Phase I was initiated to define the vertical <br /> and lateral extent of hydrocarbon-impacted soil and ground water on the northeastern and eastern <br /> portions of the site, phase H was designed to define the extent of impacted soil and water on the <br /> northwestern and southern portions of the site <br /> „ <br /> 21 SOIL BORINGS AND MONITORING WELL INSTALLATION - PHASE I ' <br /> On 18 September 2001, AGE directed the advancement and completion of two soil borings as <br /> ground water monitoring wells The soil borings were advanced utilizing a truck-mounted drill ng <br />' equipped with 8-inch diameter hollow stem augers The drill rig and three man crew were supplied <br /> by West Haz-Mat Dnlling ,Corporation of Rancho Cordova, California The monitoring well <br /> locations are depicted in Figure 2 <br /> 2 1 1 Soil Sample Collection' <br /> 1 - <br /> Discrete soil samples were collected at 5-foot intervals from`specifrc depths from MW-4 and MW-5 <br /> (refer to boring logs for specific depth) Soil samples were collected utilizing a California split-spoon <br /> sampler loaded with three 2-inch by 6-inch brass sleeves The sampler was driven by dropping a <br />' Advanced GeoEnvironmental,Inc <br />
