E1 Dorado Street and Harding Way, Stockton,
California.
Dear Mr. Margowski:
As you have instructed, Western Geo-Engineers (WEGE) is
continuing to check the effluent and .influent of the system as
outlined in Permit # AP 91-106 , See Appendix A. The following are
the results of the sampling for the period August 3 to August 26,
1992 .
INTRODUCTION
This letter documents the results of the ongoing sampling of the,
active carbon scrub controlled, vapor extraction system at the
above mentioned site.
SITE STATUS
CURRENT OPERATIONS
During July, 1992, four new vapor extraction wells were installed
while drilling conformation soil borings at the site . The wells
are VSB3 , VSB5 , VSB9 and VSB11 . Vapor extraction well P1 was
drilled up and destroyed at this time. The vacuum extraction
system currently consists of two Rotron DR505 blowers pulling 67
cubic feet per minute ( CFM) of soil vapor from the following
wells: VSB3, VSB5 , VSB9 , VSB11, and MW5 As of 08/26/92 the
system is removing 19 . 58 pounds per day of hydrocarbons.
•
R604 vapor, 9/09/92 , p. 1
