El Dorado, Stockton, California <br /> Dear George: <br /> Listed below is the information you requested regarding the <br /> above-referenced site.. <br /> Site History <br /> 1. Five (5) 5, 000 gallon, single-wall steel underground storage <br /> tanks were removed from this site in connection with the <br /> termination of Wickland's lease of the property. The age of <br /> the tanks is unknown to Wickland as the tanks were in place at <br /> the site when Wickland leased the property in March 1981. The <br /> tanks were used for the storing of petroleum products for <br /> retail sale (2 regular, 2 unleaded and 1 premium) . Prior to <br /> tank removal, there were no indications of leakage or inventory <br /> variance. The tanks were removed intact, and no conditions of <br /> concern were noted. <br /> 2 . Inventory records reviewed do not reflect any variance levels <br /> that would dictate concern or indicate a leaking tank. <br /> 3 . 11th the enactment of the Sher Bill, tank testing was required <br /> beginning in 1986 . This station had three tank tests between <br /> the beginning of compliance with Alternative #5 and the tank <br /> removal. All tanks tested tight in each of those three tests. <br /> According to Wickland's archives, no tank repairs or <br /> construction activities took place at this site during <br /> Wickland's tenure. <br /> 4 .
