System" dated April 7, 1993, <br /> "Results of Sampling of the Vapor Extraction System" dated April 30, 1993 <br /> PHS/EHD has the following comments for your consideration <br /> Groundwater <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from monitoring wells, MW1, MW4, MW5, and MW7 on December 7, <br /> 1992 Only the sample collected from MW5 contained detectable petroleum hydrocarbon contamination, 160 <br /> ppb TPH-gasoline, 12 ppb ethylbenzene, and 35 ppb xylene Samples collected from MWI and MW4 were <br /> not analyzed for TPH-gasoltne Monitoring wells MW2, MW3, and MW6 did not contain sufficient water to <br /> sample <br /> Groundwater samples were collected from monitoring wells on March 30, 1993 To date PHS/EHD has not <br /> received the results of this sampling event The above mentioned work plan proposed the destruction of <br /> monitoring wells, if no contamination is detected during confirmation soil sampling PHS/EHD does not <br /> recommend the destruction of monitoring wells at this time <br /> Soil Vapor Extraction <br /> Vapor samples were collected on Apnl 15, 1993 from VSB3, VSB5, VSB11, and MW5, as well as from the <br /> vapor extraction system's influent and effluent These samples were analyzed on WEGE's portable lab FID- <br /> GC The results indicated that hydrocarbons continue to be removed from the soil at a rate of 8 65 lbs per <br /> A Dmsjon of San joaqutn County Heal[h[ere scmccs �� <br />
