A Tosco approved-contractor will be responsible for all construction activities <br /> -associated with-the station-demolition, including permitting and UST and product line <br /> removal and disposal. The purpose of this Work Plan is to notify the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department (SJCEHD) of the upcoming UST removal <br /> activities and briefly discuss the'sampling procedures to be.followed during UST and <br /> product line replacement activities. <br /> SITE BACKGROUND <br /> The site is located on the northeast corner of Harding Way and El Dorado Street and in` . <br /> Stockton, California. The site is a former Unocal service station that retailed gasoline <br /> fuel. The site currently contains three-10,000-gallon capacity gasoline USTs and <br /> associated product lines and dispensers. - <br /> PROPOSED SCOPE OF WORK ' <br /> Three USTs and associated product lines are scheduled to be removed by a Tosca <br /> approved contractor. Upon removal, each tank and associated product lines will be <br /> hauled by an approved hauler for disposal or recycling. Soil and groundwater(if. b <br /> r� encountered) compliance samples will-be collected from below the USTs and product' <br /> '�. lines per the Tri Regional Board Staff Recommendations for Preliminary Evaluation <br /> and Investigation of-Underground.Tank Sites.
